Plasma Spray Thermal Barrier Coatings - Coarse Grain Hafnium Diboride (Spherical or Near-Spherical Interval Powder)
Thermal spraying technology is a method of using a heat source to heat the sprayed material to a molten or semi-melted state, and spraying and depositing it on the pretreated substrate surface at a certain speed to form a coating. There are various process methods for thermal spraying, such as plasma spraying, arc spraying, flame spraying and explosive spraying.
The company mainly produces 10-60um (<10um, ≯5%;>60um, ≯5%) and -100 mesh + 325 mesh coarse-grained hafnium carbide, coarse-grained zirconium carbide, coarse-grained hafnium diboride, coarse-grained diboron Zirconium and other special powder materials for spraying have the characteristics of high purity, concentrated particle size distribution, good fluidity, spherical or near-spherical powder morphology, and are mainly used in aerospace thermal barrier coatings and high temperature thermal protection fields.
Reference application: The inner wall of the nozzle extension of a certain type of rocket engine is eroded by high temperature flame flow above 2000℃ during operation, and the erosion time will last tens or hundreds of seconds. The plasma sprayed HfB2 thermal barrier coating is used for protection. This coating can effectively reduce the ablation rate of the inner wall of the nozzle.
