2022 China International Powder Metallurgy Cemented Carbide and Advanced Ceramics Exhibition

01 Zirconium Carbide

Technical highlights:High purity, low oxygen content 0.4-0.8wt%.

Main applications: ultra-high temperature ceramic matrix composites; textile insulation materials; rocket propellants.

02 Hafnium Carbide

Technical highlights: High purity: the highest purity can reach 99.99%, no impurity phase detected by XRD, low metal impurity element content detected by GDMS; concentrated distribution: standard normal distribution of particle size, no bimodal or multimodal, No trailing.

Main applications: The most important basic materials for the manufacture of missiles, launch vehicle nozzle throat linings and thermal protection of satellite and spacecraft hood parts.

03 Titanium Diboride

Technical highlights:Small particle size: the minimum particle size is 20-40nm;

Pure phase, no oxide, no impurity phase.

Main applications: Boron carbide bulletproof ceramics, new energy batteries and boron carbide products market.

 

04 Zirconium Diboride

Technical highlights:High purity: pure phase, no oxide, no impurity phase; spherical, solid powder, non-granulated hollow powder can be provided.

Main applications:  Filling materials for resin matrix composites (advantage: long non-setting time); modifiers for carbon-carbon and carbon-ceramic composite functional materials.

05 Zirconium Disilicide

Technical Highlights:

1. High purity: no impurity phase detected by XRD, or ZrSi2+Si>99%,

2. Low oxygen content (without ZrO2 phase detected by XRD), low melting and infiltration reaction temperature, and good product density;

3. The particle size distribution range can be designed according to customer needs.

Main application:

Military ultra-high temperature material; brake pads.

The zirconium and hafnium series powder materials synthesized and produced by the new process have the characteristics of high purity, small particle size, uniform distribution, large specific surface area and good sintering performance; spherical 3D printing and plasma thermal spraying ceramic composite powders have concentrated particle size distribution and fluidity. Good, highly spherical, components can be designed, low oxygen content, etc., can be customized according to customer requirements for particle size (control D10, D50, D90 at the same time), material components and particle morphology, fully meet the individual needs of users.
